THE STARR REPORT
Friday, October 6,2000  The New York Post
By MICHAEL STARR

A 'GREAT' DEAL FOR HOMELESS MAN
World View Entertainment has acquired the TV and cable rights to "Have a Great One! A Homeless Man's Story," written by Ohio-based scribe Laurie Anthony.

World View will join with Santa Monica-based Robert Rehme Productions ("Patriot Games") to turn the book into a TV movie for either broadcast or cable.
Anthony - an elementary school teacher in Dublin, Ohio - wrote the inspirational book based on her conversations with J.C. Simmons, a homeless man and former high school teacher she met while he was panhandling near Carnegie Hall.

Anthony had moved here with her husband so her son could attend a performing arts
high school. She's since moved back to Ohio.

Simmons' New York teaching career (1962-76) encompassed Massopequa Junior High,
Wyandanch Memorial High, Parkway Prep School, Alfred E. Smith Boys School,
Joan of Arc High, High School of Fashion Industry and Booker T. Washington Junior High.
