Welcome to my Website

Volunteers can touch people with their humanity. Heart touches heart, touch brings solace, kindness, cheer and acknowledgment. And the world needs more acknowledgment.

"I was noticed and pulled back up to a place where I could be proud again. Through the efforts of a few people, I was able to get together enough resources to get off the streets. These people gave from their hearts unconditionally, donating their time and money. Along with the many others that donated to me each day, I could now stand tall again. I could tell from the look in their eyes that they wanted to do more, but just didn’t know where to begin."

J.C. Simmons

Hello! I am the author of the book, Have a Great One! A Homeless Man's Story. My friendship with J.C., a homeless man in New York City, resulted in the writing of this book. I realized how important "individual advocacy" is for persons who have given up on themselves.

I am still good friends with J.C., and he says I'm his best friend! What an honor to have earned his trust and respect!

Browse through this site to learn about homelessness and learn about ways you can make a difference in someone's life. Take a look at What's New in my web.
